Some comments from a fellow worker in both the fields of the Lord and the mean streets of Florida and California ,Mike Dye, who was a Sgt on a FL Sheriff's Office while I was down there as a Sgt
on another Sheriff's Office and then He left to become a U.S. Deputy
Marshal in California. He is now back in FL as a deputy sheriff once
again but He brings 20 years of experience back to the streets as well
as his Christian Witness
Ray
You and I know that there are way too many "Christian" organizations
out there that are not really doing God's work and never will be
because of their own selfish desires and corporate needs.
I believe that God has His hand in everything that is going on in the
world right now. He will keep His hand on our ministries as long as we
remain humble and stay focused on the goal He set before us in
Matthew 28: 19-20.
I have added a link to your website on my own, just as you have added
my link to your links page. Thank you again for being out there to give
me a "Ray of Hope" that not all Christian Chaplains have forgotten
about "making disciples and planting the seeds."
Be Blessed

Author: "The PeaceKeepers"A few comments about the work God is doing through you .
I just went back to your website (regrettably, I haven't been there in a while)and I am still wiping the tears from my eyes.
I am the founder of The "Peacekeepers" Bible study for law enforcement
officers. This is an attempt to foster accountability among law
enforcement personnel from all jurisdictions and levels, local, county,
state and federal. It is intended to foster local groups of Christian officers to form
their own local groups and meet regularly to encourage and edify in The
Lord those who take his work in to the field.
You and
I, it appears, share the exact same vision. I am the founder of "the Peacekeepers"
Bible Study for Law Enforcement Officers. (Mike is also an author)
The intent of Peacekeepers is to foster all levels and jurisdictions of
Christian law enforcement officers to start local accountability and
discipleship groups, much like the early church was small group based.
The importance planting of these seed groups cannot be overestimated.
When I read your statement: "It" [
Christian Law Enforcement Fellowship or
CLEF
]
is not a formal association with officers and directors. Every member's
dues were paid more than 2000 years ago by the President Himself and
the original Board of Directors [Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Peter and
Paul) has never changed since it was formed because no better
candidates have ever been found." It brought tears to my eyes, I said,
Thats it !! I have finally found a Chaplain who understands"!! Praise
God!!
I knew I had found a Chaplain who really understood what I and other officers face.
The statement of yours that really hit me was "It [The Christian Law
Enforcement Fellowship (CLEF)] is not a formal association with
officers and directors. Every members dues were paid more than 2000
years ago by the President Himself and the original Board of Directors
[Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Peter] have never been replaced because
no better candidates could ever be found."
Amen to that brother! There are too many "Christian" organizations who
are not doing God's work and never will succeed because of their own
selfish corporate needs and desires.
I believe, as you do that God has His hand in everything that is going
on right now with our ministry efforts and will continue to bless them
as they bless others, as long as we stay humble and remain focused on
the goal presented in
Matthew 28: 19-20
I have added your website link to mine, as you have linked mine to yours.
Thank you for giving me a"Ray of Hope" that not all Christian Chaplains
have forgotten about God's commands regarding "making disciples" and
"planting the seeds".
